Arrival NJP Railway Station / SLG / IXB Bagdogra Airport-Darjeeling
After being received at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, proceed to Darjeeling (6730 ft) which is 70 km away and takes 3 hours approximately.After reaching Darjeeling, check-in at the hotel. You can visit the Mall Road and go for a stroll in the evening. Overnight stay.
Wake up early in the morning (3:30am) to witness the sunrise from Tiger Hill (2,590 meters/13 KM/45 min). On the way back, visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Proceed for half day city tour around Darjeeling covering The Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda,P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), outer view of Tea Garden (Chitrey) and Tenzing Rock.
Lamahatta, located 20 kms from Darjeeling in West Bengal, is a picturesque mountain village situated 5400 feet above sea-level. It is surrounded on all sides by pine forests and tea gardens with panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjungha. Lamahatta is an ideal holiday destination for tourists who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life and enjoy natural solitude, with its rare and beautiful species of flowers carpeting the landscape and surrounding gardens. Tinchuley view point, Treveni view point ( River Teesta & River Rangeet confluence). . Return to Darjeeling in the evening and overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Mirik (4,900 ft.), via Indo-Nepal Border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market). The drive is through scenic roads with occasional stoppage for photography. Mirik is known for man madeSumendu Lake in center surrounded by pine trees and its landscaped tea gardens and orange orchards. Return to Darjeeling in the evening and overnight stay.
Proceed from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/NJP (Railway Station)/Siliguri (for onward journey (70 KM drive/3 Hours approx).
