Arrival NJP Railway Station / SLG / IXB Bagdogra Airport-Gangtok
After being received at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, proceed to Gangtok (5,410 ft) which is 120 km away and takes 4.5 hours approximately.After reaching Gangtok, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
After early breakfast, start for a full day excursion to Tsomgo lake (12,400ft) and New Baba Mandir (13,200ft). Please carry any valid Govt Photo ID proof of all travellers. School IDs/Birth certificate required for children. Please note Nathula pass (Indo Chinese border) situated at 14,500 ft. is an optional sightseeing point, which is not a part of this package. Special Permit is required for Nathula, is done on extra cost paid directly on the spot and is totally dependent in the issuance of permit by the Sikkim tourism Dept. It is closed for visitors on Mondays. There will be extra charges too. Permits may be granted in clubbing basis.

Yes, absolutely. In 2 days you can comfortably enjoy Gangtok’s main highlights. One day we cover Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Another day, we show you beautiful places inside Gangtok city like waterfalls, monasteries, and local sightseeing.
If you only want to see Gangtok, 2-3 days are enough. But if you also want to explore North Sikkim (Lachen, Lachung) or South Sikkim (Namchi, Ravangla), then you should plan at least 6 to 8 days.
Usually for a full-day private taxi in Gangtok, the cost starts around ₹2,500 to ₹3,500 depending on the car (small car or SUV) and the number of spots you want to cover. We also arrange taxis for you at reasonable rates.
Yes, Gangtok is very safe for solo female travellers. People are very polite and helpful. You can explore freely, but like any place, staying alert and careful with belongings is always a good idea.
