IXB/NJP/Siliguri to Gangtok Pick-up from NJP / IXB / Siliguri. Enjoy a scenic drive to Gangtok (approx. 4.5 hours, 120 km) through lush hills, river valleys, and dense forests. En route, spot the Teesta River – emerald-green and surrounded by forested cliffs.Evening walk around MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, depart for Lachen, passing through wild and untouched natural landscapes
Stop at at Seven Sisters Waterfalls and Naga Waterfalls – cascading down rocky cliffs.Pass by Tosar Wildlife Sanctuary buffer zones – great for bird watching and spotting pine, fir, and rhododendron forests.Nature tip: As you ascend, observe changing vegetation from subtropical to alpine.Arrive in Lachen by late afternoon. Walk around the village for incredible views of snowy peaks and river valleys.Overnight stay in Lachen.

Lachen to Lachung transfer (Gurudongmar Lake excursion) After breakfast early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft) – one of the highest glacial lakes in the world.Surreal, wind-swept landscape surrounded by barren mountains and prayer flags.Watch for yaks, mountain goats, and high-altitude flora like alpine mosses and dwarf rhododendrons.Return to Lachen for lunch, then drive to Lachung (8,910 ft). En route, enjoy unspoiled nature, with streams and views of the Lachung River.Evening walk in Lachung village surrounded by cliffs, forest, and silence.Overnight stay in Lachung.

Lachung to Gangtok via Yumthang Valley Morning excursion to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft):Known as the “Valley of Flowers”, especially vibrant in April-May with blooming rhododendrons, primulas, and poppies.Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and grazing yaks.
Optional: Visit the Hot Spring, rich in sulphur and surrounded by nature.
Natue optional Zero Point (Yumesamdong) – high-altitude tundra where the road ends, offering raw Himalayan wilderness (extra cost).Return to hotel for lunch. Drive back to Gangtok.
